ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police are investigating what appears to be a shooting that's left one person dead at a northwest Albuquerque apartment complex.
Both police and the office of the medical investigator have been near Eagle Ranch and Paradise for hours.

Sometime before nine Tuesday morning, Albuquerque police officers were sent out to the Eagle Ranch Apartments in response to a violent crimes call.
All that police will say is at least one man is dead, but police have not released that man's identity.
They also say the nature and reason behind the shooting is unknown.
Residents have been able to come and go from the complex throughout Tuesday morning, only a small portion is roped off within the perimeter of the investigation.
This investigation is not affecting traffic on any of the major streets of Eagle Ranch, Paradise or Paseo Del Norte.
Investigators are expected to be out at the scene for a while longer.
