ALBUQUERUQE (KRQE) - Police are still looking for a man who they say got in a fight with a woman then tried to drive off drunk with his kid.
Around 10 o’clock Friday night Albuquerque police say a man and woman got into a fight in a parking lot near Menaul and Second Street.
Police say the man appeared drunk and that he tried to take off with his child.
The woman called police and tried climbing in the car.
When police arrived he had dumped the car and taken off.
APD says the man ran onto the Creamland Dairy property, near Third Street and McKnight, where officers searched but didn't find him.
Police say the woman and child are safe.
