ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Police are investigating a shooting at Hotel Albuquerque that left at least one person with a gunshot wound.
A spokesperson for the Albuquerque Police Department said the injury does not appear to be fatal.
The shooting happened just before 5 p.m. in the parking lot and followed some type of altercation, according to Officer Robert Gibbs of the Albuquerque Police Department.
The victim suffered a bullet wound to the upper left arm and is reported to be in satisfactory condition at UNM Hospital, Gibbs added.
No witnesses have come forward to say they saw the shooting, he said.
The hotel is in the 800 block of Rio Grande Boulevard NW just north of Old Town.
