ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - An Albuquerque man is in trouble after police say he shoplifted with three teens, one of them only 13 years old.
Alexis Bencomo faced a judge Saturday on three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to a criminal complaint, Walmart workers watched Bencomo and three girls grab items in the makeup aisle and stash them in the 13-year-old’s purse.
The total cost of the items they're accused to trying to steal was less than $60.
Bencomo is being held on a $2,500 cash or surety bond and has been ordered to not have any contact with the teens mentioned in the complaint.
The three girls were taken the juvenile detention center.
