ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A teen is in jail Monday, accused of kidnapping a 14 year old in Albuquerque.
Cops say Jonathon Escobar, 19, held a gun to a 14 year-old's head after his friend stole a bag of marijuana from Escobar's car on Girard Boulevard and Central Avenue.
Escobar told the boy he needed to pay for the pot.
The boy convinced Escobar to drive to his mom's apartment at Kirtland Air Force Base, and he would tell security to let them in.
After the boy got out, security surrounded the car and arrested Escobar
He was charged with kidnapping, robbery and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
