ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Another guard at the Bernalillo County Metropolitan DetentionCenter is accused of having sex with an inmate, which New Mexicolaw considers rape.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department says it interceptedletters between Marsha Griego and an inmate that indicated the twowere having sex, which Griego denies.
She was booked into the detention center on Tuesday, and thenreleased. She was fired from the detention center several monthsago after the allegations surfaced.
Deputies didn't release the inmate's name.
Last month, a grand jury indicted another female MDC guard onthree counts of rape in a similar case. The guard, Reyna Lujan, wasreportedly pregnant with an inmate's child.
