ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - A Roswell man has been arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on another driver and opening fire.
Witnesses say George Powell was speeding when a woman also driving on the road told him he should slow down because there were children in the area.
Police say Powell stopped at a house, went inside and returned with a gun. He fired several rounds, but no one was injured.
A couple neighbors witnessed the encounter.
Powell is charged with aggravated assault.
