ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Imagine the horror for shoppers when they saw a man set himself on fire inside an Albuquerque home-improvement store.
Albuquerque police say the 45-year-old man doused himself in a flammable liquid Tuesday afternoon inside the Lowe's store on Paseo del Norte NE.
He then set himself on fire.
A Lowe's employee threw water on the manto put out the flames. The unidentified man suffered burns to his face and arms.
It's not yet clear what motivated the man to self-immolate.
