ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A judge has sentenced an illegal alien involved in a deadly shooting at an Albuquerque Denny's restaurant to four years in prison.
Jose Melgar Cabrera pleaded guilty back in September to being an accessory after the fact, and aiding and abetting.
In June 2009, three gunman burst into the restaurant at Coors Boulevard and Iliff Road
One of them shot and killed a cook, 34 year-old Stephanie Anderson.
Pablo de Leon Ortiz and Marvin Lopez-Aguilar have been charged with murder, along with Cabrera's brother, Francisco.
He remains on the run.
After his prison time, Cabrera will be deported back to El Salvador where he's from.
