ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A man was arrested after police say he endangered the life of others and his son.
Jose Jimenez, 32, was in court Sunday charged with child abuse.
According to a criminal complaint, police pulled over Jimenez late Friday night after he nearly hit vehicle on I-40 eastbound near the big-I while changing lanes.
Police smelled alcohol on him and had him do field sobriety tests.
They say he did not do very well and he blew over .08 on a breath test, above the presumed level of intoxication.
Police say he had his 8-year-old son in the car too.
Jimenez bonded out of jail Saturday.
