ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Sheriff's deputies say a driver who dropped his cell phone caused a deadly crash in Albuquerque Monday.
Anthony Chavez, 26, was on Coors near Pajarito when he leaned over to pick up his phone, ran a red light and hit a car driven by Christian Gurule, 24.
Deputies do not think Chavez was drinking, but do think he was speeding.
He is charged with vehicular homicide.
