Man accused of murdering roommates to remain behind bars until trial

The man accused of beating two roommates to death, then dumping their bodies, will remain behind bars until trial.

Eugene Carroll Ray, 70, and Zakaria Fry were reported missing back in January.

Their bodies were found dumped weeks later along a road in Stanley.

James Knight was charged for the murders after he was seen on surveillance using Ray's credit cards and driving his car.

In court Tuesday, state prosecutors asked that he be held until trial.

Judge Christina Argyres granted the motion.
