ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A jury has been selected in the trial of the suspected ‘arroyo molester' and opening statements are expected Thursday morning.
Genaro Sandoval is on trial for allegedly attacking and raping a boy in an Albuquerque arroyo in 2003.
He is also accused of attacking five other boys over several years in other northeast heights arroyos.
Sandoval was arrested back in 2007 when DNA from the crime came back as a match to Sandoval's.
He will be tried separately for the other cases.
