ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A shooting Friday night left one man dead and Albuquerque police trying to sort out what happened.
Few details have been released about what happened just before 8 p.m. in the 200 block of San Pablo Drive NE.
Witnesses told police several people drove up in a white Ford Crown Victoria and went into the residence where the shooting occurred. They then were seen leaving.
Initial reports indicate a person in the residence was shot in the abdomen and was pronounced dead on arrival at UNM Hospital.
Police later identified the victim as Peter Ruffing, 40.
Additional information on possible suspects and a motive for the shooting has not yet been released.
