ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Bernalillo County sheriff's deputies arrested an accused drunk driver for a crash that injured his dog and a woman.
Deputies say Peter Sanchez, 32, wrecked into another car just after 11 p.m. Wednesday near Arenal and Tapia Southwest.
According to the criminal complaint, Sanchez was not only drunk but also high on drugs and had booze in his car.

Deputies say he then hid the dog in a shed with such severe injuries it could hardly walk.
The dog was taken to a vet to be treated.
