SANTA FE (KRQE) - The state Court of Appeals on Monday ordered a new trial for awoman who had been convicted of second-degree murder in the 2005stabbing death of her boyfriend.
The court said the jury hearing Johanna Andrez's case shouldhave been allowed to consider whether she acted in self-defense inthe stabbing death of Manuel Garcia.
The trail will be Andrez's third for this case. The first trialended in a mistrial.
