ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) - A 1-month-old baby has died from suspected child abuse.
The baby was airlifted to UNM Hospital last week after being taken to a Roswell hospital with severe injuries.
Doctors suspected child abuse and notified authorities.
Roswell police say the baby has since died but their investigation continues and no arrests have been made.
At this point, they're trying to determine what caused the markings found on the baby's body.
They're also trying to determine who was caring for the baby when the injuries happened.
