ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The accomplice of John McCluskey on the crime spree that ended with the murder of an Oklahoma couple traveling through New Mexico was on the witness stand for the fourth day Thursday.
Cassyln Welch told jurors that she did whatever McCluskey told her and he had a temper.
McCluskey is on trial for the murders of Gary and Linda Haas in 2010.
Welch maintains that McCluskey pulled the trigger despite an agreement the Haases would not be harmed.
Welch told jurors McCluskey snapped after learning the Haases lied to him about not having guns in their travel trailer.
Jurors also heard a recorded phone conversation between the Welch and McCluskey when he was in prison, giving jurors a glimpse of his temper.
