ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - An associate marching band director at the University of New Mexico says three instruments were stolen from his office.
Dr. Richard White says three tubas and four cases were taken out of his office sometime between Saturday night and Sunday evening.
One of them belonged to a student.
White says the instruments are custom-made by Adams Instruments in the Netherlands and are valued at more than $60,000.
"There's a such thing as right and wrong and I hope whoever took these tubas realizes that the right thing to do is just return them," Dr. White said.
Anyone with information should call UNM Police.
