You know it's springtime in Jemez when the annual Cabin Fever Festival takes place.
Saturday, the Village of Jemez Springs held what it calls "the cure for the winter blahs."
The festival had everything from chainsaw carving to dog costume and pie-baking contests.
People KRQE News 13 spoke with say the event is important for the local economy.
"People like to come up to the Jemez and Jemez Springs is a great place to stop, shop and eat before you head north," says festival attendee Patti Bailey.
The event also boasted live music, food vendors and arts and crafts.
