ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The Special Shapes Glowdeo is scheduled to light up Balloon Fiesta Park Thursday night after the fantastical crafts took to the sky in the morning.
The event begins around 5:45 p.m. with the gas burners lighting up balloons from inside after dark.
A fireworks show is planned after the glow.
Winds are expected to pick up later in the day, but as of noon everything is expected to go on as scheduled.
Special shapes also took center stage on the ground and in the air Thursday morning for the Special Shapes Rodeo.
