| What to expect The Balloon Fiesta launch field is roughly the size of 54 football fields. The field is covered in grass and balloons lift off usually in waves of 300 at a time. Costs Admission to the 2009 Balloon Fiesta will be $6 for persons over the age of 12. Children 12 years old and under are admitted free. General Parking is $10 per car. Time For weekend events, plan to arrive at the park by 5:30am. During evening events, try to be at the park by 4pm. Gates open at 4:30am and 3:00pm. It can be cold so dress warm!
