PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CNN/WPTV) - A brazen crime in southern Florida was caught on camera.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, two sisters, one in a wheelchair, were shopping at a Publix store in Boca Raton on Thursday, April 12.

After shopping, they went outside to wait for a bus. Surveillance video shows a young man wearing a black shirt grabbing the purse from one of the women and knocking them both to the ground.

The women gave a description to detectives who eventually arrested 19-year-old Adam Bardisa. Police say Bardisa's father turned in his son after he recognized him on the surveillance videos shown on TV.

The woman in the wheelchair is recovering from two broken ribs suffered in the attack.
