HUDSON, Mass. (CNN/WHDH) - A Massachusetts man saw the car in front of him kick up a piece of debris. His car took a direct hit but he wasn't prepared for what he found when he stopped to inspect the damage.

"I walked around the front of the car expected to see a broken headlight or some type of damage and sticking straight out is a 2-foot long machete. I couldn't believe my eyes," said Fred Dolan.

As for the damage to his car, the driver says it fits right in with the wear-and-tear that was already there.
