MELBOURNE, Australia (CNN/SEVEN NETWORK) - Check out this video. A kangaroo led police in high-hopping chase at Melbourne Airport.

You can see the officers trying to track the kangaroo down and keep it safe.

The 3-year-old eastern gray roo dodged police and cars for about two hours before it was cornered by officers.

A wildlife worker tranquilized the animal.

Officials say it appears the animal damaged its toenails from hopping on the concrete.
