LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CNN/KUSA) - The High Park fire in Colorado is at least 50 percent contained, but not before scorching more than 58,000 acres of land.

One couple who escaped the flames and recorded their evacuation have now learned that their cabin has been destroyed.
