(CNN) - Al Pacino will reportedly portray legendary Penn State football coach Joe Paterno in an upcoming movie.
The Hall of Fame college coach died in January, surrounded by scandal.
According to Deadline.com , the New York Times bestselling book "Paterno" is going to be turned into a movie.
The flick will depict Paterno's life and his highly-publicized fall from grace.
Pacino has played a football coach before-- when he starred in the 1999 Oliver Stone film "Any Given Sunday."
