LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (KRQE) - Thirty-six days after the largest fire in the state’s history flared up, crews have fully contained the Las Conchas Fire.

The blaze near Los Alamos burned over 156,000 acres and prompted several evacuations and temporary closure of Los Alamos National Laboratory.

The Los Conchas fire started on June 26, after a tree fell on a power line.
