Hotline set up for Little Bear evacuees
Additional help, escorts also available

RUIDOSO, N.M. (KRQE) - A hotline has been set up for homeowners who have not been allowed to return to neighborhoods evacuated during the Little Bear Fire.
They can call 575-258-4636 to learn the status of their property.
Authorities are hoping everyone will have all the information they need over the next few days.
By calling that number evacuees also can get help from medical and mental health professionals, clergy and even FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
In addition they will be given the opportunity to set up an escort to their property so they don't have to go alone.
"We do not want anybody to drive up to their homes or where their home used to be and find out for the first time that it's not there anymore without us talking to them," Lincoln County Public Information Officer Michele Caskey said.
Authorities were hoping to reopen the Enchanted Forest neighborhood Friday, but a spot fire caused by a downed power line has posed a safety concern for residents.
