ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A flash flood warning now in effect includes Santa Clara pueblo, a community already damaged by heavy runoff from rains on the Las Conchas Fire burn scar.

The warning issued by the National Weather Service is in effect until three p.m. for an area that includes portions of Los Alamos, Sandoval and Rio Arriba counties.

The expected to drop up to an inch of rain was reported just before 1 p.m. to be about six miles north of Los Alamos and moving east at 8 mph.

Update:  Shortly before 3 p.m. the weather service canceled the flood warning.  The rain was ending and the flood threat diminishing although minor flooding may continue in the area, the weather service reported.
