LAGUNA, N.M. (KRQE) - Firefighters are battling a new fire north of Laguna.
The Cerro Marquez Fire was sparked by lightning Sunday night around 8 p.m.
The fire has burned four acres and no structures are threatened.
However, fire officials say the blaze is active and could quickly spread.
A heavy air tanker has been ordered and a single engine air tanker is dropping retardant on the fire.
