CAPITAN, N.M. (KRQE) - It is a combined force trying to knock down a wind-driven grass fire east of Capitan.
State, local and federal firefighters are working the blaze that broke out on private land, about 4 miles east of that Lincoln County town Sunday afternoon.
About 800 acres have burned in what is being called the Orio Fire.
Firefighters say it is human caused.
