BANDELIER NATIONAL MONUMENT, N.M. (KRQE) - After being closed to the public for three months by fire and floods, more of Bandelier National Monument is set to reopen.

People will be able to visit Frijoles Canyon starting Monday, and visitors can take a shuttle bus to the main archaeological sites on the canyon floor.

The monument was closed first by the Las Conchas Fire, which ripped through the Jemez Mountains and a section of the monument, and then by flash floods when heavy rains hit the burn scar.

A few trails and one campground opened in July.

For a complete list of what is and is not open, visit the Bandelier website.
