ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Skiers and snowboarders are hopeful after Sunday’s big snow fall.

Ski Santa Fe , currently closed, is reporting 16 inches of new snow.  They still have not said when they will open.

Pictures sent to KRQE by Angel Fire officials Sunday showed snow hitting the slopes.  According to their website Monday morning the resort had 14 inches of snow.  They are slated to open this coming weekend.

Sandia Peak wasn’t quite as lucky.  They were scheduled to open this weekend but say they’ll hold off until they get more snow.
