ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - While New Mexico needs snow, the storms have been especially great news for the ski areas.

Taos got eight inches of snow in the last 72 hours and are expected to get another foot.

Pajarito was also a big winner from the weekend storm. They got nine inches and could also get upwards of a foot.

The other ski areas up north could do just as well.

The one area desperate for snow right now is Sandia Peak.
