DURANGO, COLORAD (KRQE) - A scary scene in Colorado after an avalanche has closed U.S. Highway 550 just south of Coal Bank Pass.
Video from the Durango Mountain Resort shows the area getting pounded by snow.
Officials say the ski area is still accessible.
Crews are working to clear the avalanche now.
No word on how long the roads will be closed for.
