THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PUEBLO HAS ISSUED A * FLOOD ADVISORY FOR... SOUTH CENTRAL HUERFANO COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO... WEST CENTRAL LAS ANIMAS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO... THE MAURICIO CANYON BURN SCAR...BETWEEN THE SPANISH PEAKS AND AGUILAR... * UNTIL 915 PM MDT * AT 612 PM MDT...PUEBLO DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO 3 INCHES MAY HAVE FALLEN. THIS AMOUNT OF RAIN MAY CAUSE RAPID RUNOFF...LEADING TO FLOODING PROBLEMS ACROSS THE MAURICIO CANYON BURN SCAR BETWEEN THE SPANISH PEAKS AND AGUILAR. IT COULD ALSO LEAD TO FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND NORMALLY DRY CREEKS AND ARROYOS IN THIS AREA. RUNNING WATER OVER ROADWAYS IS POSSIBLE.

Areas affected: Alamosa Vicinity, Central San Lui, Eastern Las Animas County, La Garita Mountains Above 10000, Saguache County East of Continen, Southern Sangre De Cristo Mounta, Southern Sangre De Cristo Mounta, Trinidad Vicinity, Western Las An, Walsenburg Vicinity, Upper Huerfa, Western, Central Fremont County B
