LAS CRUCES (KRQE) - The Little Joe II rocket was used to launch Apollo crew capsules thousands of feet above the New Mexico desert to test their escape systems. This is raw footage of the test process, including arrival of hardware at Holloman AFB in special cargo planes, the trip to White Sands and then preparation of Little Joe II's.
