Jesus answers kids' lightning prayers

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - As the song says, " some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers." In this case, however, some kids asked Jesus for some lightning, and they got it.

"Dex" from Albuquerque's 104.1 The Edge went outside in the large storm that hit the metro area Monday night with his children. They watched as the lightning light up the sky and heard the thunder echo against the Sandia Mountains.

Then, all the sudden, Dex gets a great idea. He tells his children to ask " Jesus, show me some lightning!" They did. See what they got after they asked below:

After they got what they wanted, they made sure to say "Thank you Jesus!" and "I love you, Jesus, with all my heart!"
