ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Interstate 25 in southeast Albuquerque reopened in time for the morning commute after a truck lost control of its oversized load Tuesday night.
A little after 9 p.m. the long concrete beam ended up sideways across traffic lanes when it and the semi pulling it jackknifed.
Police ended up closing the entire interstate between Gibson and Rio Bravo boulevards to help get the mess cleaned up.
No one was hurt.
The beam was destined for the city project building a bike and pedestrian overpass across I-25 north of Jefferson Street.
