EB I-40 reopens after semi-truck fire

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A semi-truck fire closed eastbound I-40 at mile marker 68 for several hours Sunday morning.

Officials say a semi-truck cab caught fire on eastbound I-40 around 10:30 a.m.

The fire has since been extinguished and I-40 has reopened.

No injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
