Semi slows, backs up I-40 EB traffic

All lanes have reopened

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Emergency crews were on scene of a incident that has left the left lane of eastbound I-40 closed early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday on I-40 near the Rio Grande Boulevard exit.

A Fed-Ex truck lost it's trailer on the interstate blocking two lanes.
    
There were reports that the back-up is reaching Unser.

Officials have since reopened all eastbound I-40 lanes.
