ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Some drivers on the Westside of Albuquerque will have a smoother commute on Wednesday.
The new intersection at Universe and McMahon boulevards is officially open. Mayor Richard J. Berry and City Councilor Dan Lewis dedicated the project in Ventana Ranch on Tuesday.
Westside residents have been waiting for the new intersection to help ease traffic jams.
The new road will also help students get to CNM's westside campus.
