ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Drivers will soon be seeing construction work on Paseo Del norte.
The Albuquerque city council Monday gave the green light to the I-25 interchange project.
This includes a $50 million bond issue that is the money needed to complete the project.
The reconstruction is to help eliminate traffic back-up by building a new interchange.
The new layout was approved by voters back in February.
Construction is expected to begin in August.
