Fatal motorcycle crash in downtown

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Donald Harris, 39, was driving a motorcycle eastbound Central Avenue and Carlisle Boulevard.

Harris hit a dip in the road just east of Carlisle and lost control of the motorcycle. Harris and the motorcycle slid down the road, hitting the right rear of a pickup truck that was making a U-turn at Solano Drive.

Harris was transported to UNM hospital and pronounced dead at the hospital. Alcohol and speed may be a factor with Harris.

Police are still investigating the official cause of the wreck.
