ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A crash on I-25 northbound Sunday afternoon ended in a five-car pile up.
It happened around 2:30 near the Alameda exit.
That first accident sent a woman to the hospital, but there is no word yet on her injuries.
Then a short time later, Albuquerque police say a driver was distracted by that first accident and caused a five car pile-up.
A woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
I-25 northbound at Alameda reopened just after 9 o’clock Sunday night.
