TIJERAS, N.M. (KRQE) - A car rolled over on Interstate 40 and was then hit by a semi Friday evening shutting down the westbound lanes at the head of Tijeras Canyon.
Four people in the car were injured, but a spokesperson for the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department said the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Westbound traffic is being diverted off I-40 at Sedillo to Old Route 66 to get around the crash.\
The crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. It is not known how long the lanes will be closed.
