Crash closes I-40 eastbound at MM 135

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Emergency crews closed all eastbound lanes of I-40 at mile marker 135 due to a crash for about 30 minutes Monday.

Officials say they responded to reports of a rollover crash on I-40 about 14 miles west of the Atrisco Vista exit around 6:30 p.m.

Two people were transported to a local hospital.

One of those two people died as a result of the accident.
