Central Avenue reopened after crash

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Crews have reopened Central Avenue in both directions after a crash involving an officer Thursday.

Around 11 o'clock Thursday an APD officer hit another car as it pulled out of a driveway near Chama and Central.

Witnesses say the officer was driving at a high rate of speed.

The officer was transported to the hospital.

No other injuries are being reported at this time.

The crash is under investigation.
