ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The intersection of Jefferson and Osuna will be under construction for the next four months until June while crews install new storm drains in the area.

This is according to a project manager at the city's Department of Municipal Development who spoke with the Albuquerque Journal.

There is about 1,400 feet of storm drain improvements that will be going into the streets around Osuna and Jefferson.
Drivers will be squeezed down to one lane in each direction with all the traffic on the northbound lanes of Jefferson and the westbound lanes of Osuna.

The cost for the project is about $720,000 and paid for through a general obligation bond.
